2007 - Several marked Scout cars are outfitted with a sound vibration unit called a "rambler." This sends out a vibration ahead of the expediting vehicle to warn plugged in and inattentive drivers of it's impeding approach,(MPD).
2008 - members of the Metropolitan Police department, along with numerous other police department and fire department render full honors in handling the funeral and internment of Leonard "Bud" Doggett, the founder of HEROES, Incorporated.
